Have you ever wanted to dress like Venetia? Or thought of planning a wedding with period costumes? Here's a site that will give you ideas, advice, and patterns: Jessamyn's Regency Costume Companion. Enjoy!

If you know of other sites that offer costumes and more, please add to this thread!

Oh what a lovely website :D . Thank you for posting it.

Sense and Sensibility is a lovely website that sells patterns for Regency gowns and costumes from other eras. It also has a forum where you can get tips to help you sew the gowns.

I ran across this site: Ravenrook Clothier & Haberdasher.

They have patterns for clothing from several eras. Their patterns are a bit pricey, at $57.00 each. But they do have a good selection of Regency garments, and each pattern is for all sizes, including plus sizes, which are not always easy to find.

I like that they have a yardage cutting chart on their site, so you can figure out how much fabric you will need for a garment before you purchase the pattern.
